Tech. Sharing | What should we pay attention to after intraocular lens implantation?

Intraocular lens implantation, as a modern and mature common surgery, has the characteristics of minimally invasive. But even minimally invasive is a trauma:

1. Although the incision does not need to be sutured, there is a healing process, so better care is needed in the healing process. Pay attention to eye hygiene, and do not pollute the wound, resulting in eye infection;

2. Order the medicine on time and according to the doctor’s advice. After operation, levofloxacin is generally used 3 times a day for a week, and tobramycin dexamethasone eye drops are used 3 to 4 times a day for 10 days to half a month, and an eye ointment is used every night;

3. Patients with diabetes will also add an extra dose of diclofenac sodium to reduce the inflammatory reaction in the eye, so that cataract surgery can recover as soon as possible;

4. There are no special dietary restrictions after cataract surgery. Eat more foods that contain high nutrients and are conducive to the recovery of the wound, such as high protein foods, and try to eat less irritating foods such as raw onions, raw garlic, peppers, etc., which will stimulate the secretion of tears and be detrimental to the wound healing. In addition, there are no special diet foods.
